Archie Borders’s experience in independent film production spans most facets of financing, producing, and distributing. Archie’s most recent project is as producer, writer-director of “Rocket Man,” an adaptation from the PRI, radio program, “This American Life.” He recently produced the short film, “At the End of the Day” for director Dionisio Ceballos. It premiered in April at the Miami International and Atlanta International Film Festival. Other activities and accomplishments in film include:

George Maranville, Producer
George Maranville has worked as a producer, writer and director in film and media production for over twenty years. His recent work includes the feature film romantic comedy Paper Cut (available on DVD from Image Entertainment) for which he served as producer. He recently wrote and directed the comedy short film Yeti Vengeance, which screened at over a dozen film festivals including Los Angeles International Short, Silverlake and Malibu Film Festivals. It is currently available for multi-platform screening through Critical Content Distribution.
His past works include the critically acclaimed feature film 100 Proof, which was a competitor at the Sundance Film Festival, as well as screening at both SXSW Film Festival and Hermosa Beach Film Festival (where lead actress Pamela Holden Stewart garnered the “Best Performance” award). Prior to its release for the home market, 100 Proof completed a successful theatrical run, including showing at the prestigious Film Forum in New York. It is now available on video and DVD from Water Bearer Films.
Maranville cut his teeth in the production world with his documentary Dusk ‘Til Dawn, a critically lauded piece about the drive-in theater culture, financed by PBS, and followed that with a stint as an assistant to the producers on the feature film Lawn Dogs, working with producers Duncan Kenworthy (Four Weddings and a Funeral; Notting Hill) and David Rubin (Cold Mountain).

Bonnie determines the print and web requirements of each project and oversees all phases of implementation. For print projects, she is responsible for illustration, photography, page layout and prepress. For web based projects, she is responsible for all aspects of site design, css for optimization, and coordination with programming and development for the user interaction experience. She is proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Pagemaker, Quark Xpress, Adobe Acrobat, Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks. She can program in ColdFusion and Flash Action Script 2.
Bonnie’s involvement in her community includes contributing graphic design services to the local chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and volunteering for Drive Cancer Out, a local charity devoted to decreasing youth smoking. She also serves as board member of the Center for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention, for whom she also donated the design and management of the organizational website.
Her experience in graphic design dates back to Professional Page on the Amiga 2000 in the early 90’s. An accomplished artist and art instructor before getting into graphic design, she has worked as a graphic designer, web developer and illustrator ever since. Much of her work has been freelance. She has also held positions as a illustrator/graphic designer at Care Publications and ADFX, both in Louisville. Her responsibilities have included website design, illustration, logo creation and print design projects ranging from brochures to newspaper ads to large museum exhibits.
Bonnie holds a Bachelor’s and Masters degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
